  What makes you think they've never been hacked? If they were hacked, do you think they will make that public?

  While WT wouldn't make it public, the hacker would if he were a disgruntled exJW -- and I'd say that most exJWs fit that category.

  But how about Watchtower? Why has it been so immune to hacking?
  

  While JWleaks has been a great source of much confidential information, I have yet to see evidence of a leak of JW headquarters' level information, governing body private matters, worldwide and branch financials, etc.
  

  What surprises me is that while each year there are some 80,000 disgruntled people that exit the org by way of DF and DA, none from that group (provided that he/she has the technical expertise) has yet been motivated to perform a hack on WT networks that could expose what many on this forum already speculate about.

  Interesting Take on Vows

  so yesterday was the wt on vows.. it spoke, in part about two vows.

  the vow you make in dedication and the vow of marriage.

  here's how it describes them.. the most important vow that a christian can make is the one with which he dedicates his life to jehovah.

  Clearly this is setting out the scene that it's perfectly OK for a young child, perhaps only around 10 years old or less, to get baptised - which by implication means dedication.

  Yes, less!!!!

  There are no less than two examples, WT yearbooks no less, of 6 year olds getting baptized. A 6 year old is much closer in age to an infant than to those adults getting married.

  as i was cutting up our bbq chook in preperation for our meals i thought about some indigenous societies that just after a kill give thanks to the spirit of the animal for providing its life so he and his family can live.. i thought that seems to make a helluva lot more sense than giving thanks to an unseen god who is apparently indifferent to mankinds sufferings and is deaf to all the prayers that are offered up to him.. maybe we dont hunt for our food nowadays in the civilized world , but i think its food for thought..

  Completing the Scan of All WT Publications - Bibles List

  i am working with paul grundy from jwfacts and with the administrator of avoidjw.org, and they are ok with me doing the work that i am doing right now, which is to try and complete, as much as possible, the availability of everything the wt has ever published, in pdf format.therefore, i will start listing in this thread what i have not been able to find anywhere online.

  please let me know where i can find the pdf's for the following:(now, i know that there are multiple versions of these and that there are some that seem the same but they are not.

  i am looking for the wt published versions of these publications.

  I also have what you call the "fatboy" (this is the first I've heard that term but I guess it fits), the 1953-1960 published in 1963. This naïve young (age 23) man (that's me) has underlining in the preface that I now have no idea why I did it.

  With all those cross references, footnotes, etc. -- we all thought it was the ultimate in the technology of the day.

  I'm not sure what computer technology WT had in those days. The midwestern company that I worked for in 1963 would introduced us to labor reporting the following year, data that was fed via punch cards into an IBM 360.

  What's worse, 2 week old getting nearly 100 rat bites and living, or Jesus' torture and death?

  some 35 miles from here, in the small town of magnolia, ar, a teen couple is in trouble -- as they should be -- for allowing their 2 week old girl, a 5 pound baby, to suffer nearly 100 bites from rats.

  one of the bites was so large and deep it required plastic surgery.

  i don't want to even think about the horror this teeny creature felt during those instances -- and the horrible nightmares she may suffer in years to come.. i wonder if this is one of those human experiences that may be worse than what christ suffered on that stake.

  I wonder if this is one of those human experiences that may be worse than what Christ suffered on that stake. I also think about prisoners of war and how some were treated before being put to death -- pulling out their fingernails comes to mind. The millions during the holocaust is another event that comes to mind.

  We've all been taught about the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus went through. Do you think that it was the ultimate?

  10. My mother suffered the pangs of birth so I could have a life. She fed me, changed my diapers, held me, dried my tears, taught me right from wrong and was always there for me. What kind of low-life ingrate will it make me IF I turn my back on her now because she won't quit smoking. . . .and you just DISFELLOWSHIPPED HER!!

  Are you still faithful to the Watchtower ? If so, you are rebelling against Jehovah and his organization by visiting and blogging on this site. How do you explain this. Anxious to know

  Cuz as we learned from Breakfast of Champions, certain ones with permission from elders may post to this site (and others) and report triple time.
